New logo and visual identity
The Ministry of Interior of Finland wanted to modernise and renew its stiff and bureaucratic visual identity into a more approachable look and feel, while upholding the brands credibility.
The familiar lion from Coat of arms of Finland was kept as the Ministry symbol. However, a new layout inside the seal was made to ensure the differentiation from other ministries and to symbolize the Ministry of Interior's work within Finland's borders.
Four equally acting primary colours were chosen to create a flexible yet elegant and memorable entirety. The colors also symbolize the border guards, the police and rescue departments, such as fire departments and medical care.
